Our ideal is to invest in family-run or family-owned business, that fit within our investment mandate, companies with clear market access, traction and established management. Founded in 2010, IsimoVest Capital, exists to spearhead change in the South Africa investment market.
We aim to be the most proliferent capital allocator across Africa. Backing companies and teams that will change the world.

Investment Strategy
Growth Fund
We like looking at companies looking for growth capital, with some of the following elements:
- EBITDA range from R50m to R200m
- EBITDA Sweet Spot of R100m
- EV between R150m to R1 billion
- Cheque size ranges between R50m to R250M
- Equity stakes ranging from 26% to 51% 20% IRR Net Return
Enterprise Development & Impact Fund
We seek to pool all the contributions of organisations/enterprises who do not have internal capacity to run and manage own Enterprise development programmes:
- QSE’s (Qualifying Small Enterprises – turnover of between R10m and R50m) who don’t have internal E capacity
- GEN’s (Generic Enterprises – turnover above R50m) who have interest in the development of small businesses, regardless of location
- EME’s (Exempt Micro Enterprises – turnover of R10m or less) who don’t have 51% black ownership and wish to qualify for the ESD points to improve their scorecards.

Our aim is to participate and help with growth prospects for established small cap businesses. Businesses with a proven track record and established management team.
